A perfect dessert for winter months.

Oil (odorless seed oil) | 380 g |
Water | 380 g |
Walnut crumbs (optional) | 200 g |
Syrup | ±1.200 , 28-29 °C |
Preparation
Mix all the ingredients at medium speed with the use of the mixer’s flat beater for 3 minutes. Add the walnut crumbs just before you finish mixing.
Pour the dough into baking forms, filling up to 2/3.
Bake at 160°C for 45 minutes. The damper should be kept open.
After you finish baking, carve and pour the syrup. You can either use cold syrup on warm walnut pie or hot syrup on cold walnut pie.
