Sefco Zeelandia at the forefront of technology
Mr. Vasilis Vrinios, the Factory Manager of Sefco Zeelandia, was one of the key speakers during the Smart Factory Conference 2019, organized by Boussias Communications and held under the auspices of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises – SEV on February 12th at the Art Factory in Athens.
With the attendance of more than 230 leading executives and international presenters of the manufacturing and technology industry, the conference’s goal was to demonstrate the value, the opportunities and challenges in the value chain of industries.
Mr. Vrinios presented the high levels of full automation of Sefco Zeelandia’s production units and highlighted the importance of obtaining data records through direct access rather than having to sequentially look for them. By doing so, product safety is more efficiently ensured as well as zero quality incidents are achieved. Emphasis was given on how cutting-edge technologies of Industry 4.0, the current trend of automation and data exchange can definitely transform the future of production and impact positively the full supply chain and business models.
