Pound cake

Traditional Madeira type cake with butter scent.

Marba Butterscotch 2.000 g
Eggs 900 g
Margarine Princess 900 g
Lemon or Orange shavings (optional)

Preparation

    Use the flat beater to mix all the ingredients together for 7-8 minutes at high speed until you get a homogenous and fluffy dough.

    Add the lemon or orange shavings, making sure they are all well blended together.

    Pour the mixture into molds, filling them up to 2/3 once you have buttered and floured them or have sprayed them with Carlo (release agents).

    Bake at 180-200°C for 45-60 minutes (depending on the cake weight).

    Once the cake has cooled down, you can proceed with the decoration.
